Tires for winter driving go studded tires all season radials. But the main problem with the TT in a heavy snow, I think, is the low ground clearance. I think the snow / ice, the car could pass through the landing gear could be blocked by treatment radial all season because of the FWD. But without closing schools, even with front wheel drive with one wheel at a time to really consider. And if the snow was higher than that, well, a hot rum and butter at home to stay.
If you have a vehicle to move in all kinds of weather in Iowa may need 4-WD high with snow tires and with center lock which is the case filled. A pickup truck or SUV with a ground clearance. A little low-hanging sports car is not built to handle deep snow to.
try Michelin X-Ice xi2
I tried Michelin X-ICE 1 and were really impressive! I could not imagine, X-Ice xi2 much better than a tire for the delay. I remember one time my father was tested in its crown with four X-ice. Your car has ABS btw. We drove at 30 mph and braked hard and do not block! and we had a car with the rear tires X-Ice on my back and never had any problems! excellent tires, get the Michelin X-Ice xi2.
Bridgestone Blizzak are also good, both the X-Ice xi2 Blizzak and have special rubber compound from which they consider snow tires in the middle. But as soon as the Blizzak issued at 55%, special bond is gone, and he behaves like a normal winter. X-Ice is having the same rubber, no matter how tired he is.
I www.tirerack.com. They have ratings of different tires. You need the information you need.
